Welcome to my salon, hair friend! I'm Leonie Dolmage, born and raised in Holland and now proudly living and working and helping curly haired souls from all over Huron County and beyond. I'm here to help you take intentional care of your curls and yourself to make you feel like you always have a choice in how you want to wear your crown and how you choose to take care of yourself.

As a person who loves the outdoors and is always seeking connections with earth, I know how important it is to find a routine for your hair that works with your lifestyle. I've focused our sessions on giving you all of the options so that when you go home, you'll have choices in how you want your hair to look based on the efforts you put in.

I've been wearing my own hair curly all of my life, started fully understanding and embracing my curls in 2018, and started teaching others in 2020 when I joined the beauty industry. I came in very focused on wanting to work with curly hair, which has allowed me to take very focused continueing education right from the beginning and I continue to do so. 

​

While most stylist can give you amazing hair and good maintenance care thereafter, I see my role as your stylist go abit beyond that. I work together with all of my guest to truly help you understand your own hair, and take the time to educate you on it, so you can re-create the results at home and come to understand that you have so much room to play within your curly hair routine. I will check in during your next appointment and see if things are still working or if there are pieces you'd like to touch on so we can adjust for new routines you may have.

When I'm not in the salon, you can often find me with my dog and husband exploring on trails, attempting a new receipe in the kitchen, slowing down with some meditation, yoga or just sitting outside. Chances are I choose to wear my hair up for all of that, because between the salon, the dog and two cats, I just need a break from it and I love having the flexibility of having my hair be as simple or fancy as I want it to be!

While I am definitely focused on curly haired individuals, I love variation and would be happy to do anyones hair for them if they feel called to come sit in my chair!!
